Russian blue's!

Hey everycat :p It's Ry! Today's post is about Russian blue cat's! They are beautiful, Grey-ish blue, or light grey domestic (tame) cats!

__________________________________________________ Origin/Where did they come from?: So, you might have guessed they came from Russia... Well just keep reading to see! They actually DID originate from Russia! Possibly in the port of Arkhangelsk, Russia. They are also sometimes called Archangel Blues. it is believed that sailors took Russian Blues from the Archangel Isles to Great Britain and Northern Europe in the 1860s... Extra: Russian blue's are short haired, blue-grey cats. They mostly have green eyes, but that does not mean all have green eyes! __________________________________________________ Look at that beauty!: Russian blue's have bright green eyes, most of the time, and have two layers of short but thick fur. Russian blue's are truly beautiful cats, with their sparkling eyes and pretty blue-grey fur! Look at that beauty!

Russian blue's are not just pretty on the outside! They are known to be very, very friendly! And they are very smart and curious too! But they can be shy around strangers. _________________________________________________ That's not a dog!: Russian blue's are, like I said, really smart and friendly. They are sometimes known to play fetch! They are also sensitive to human emotions, like they might be upset if they upset you! They really love to play with a lot of different toys, and they are loyal cats who bond quickly with their owner. They also get along well with children and other animals in homes, They are also sort of quiet. They will meow once in a while though, but they can also be very talkative! It depends on their personality. They also love to play with other small pets, such as dogs, cats and ferrets.And Many Russian Blues have been trained to do tricks! Amazing, right?! And Russian Blues can also be fierce hunters, catching rodents, birds, rabbits, and small reptiles (lizards and more). __________________________________________________ image: Well that is all I have to say for now, but look at this pretty picture of a Russian blue!

That's not kitty cat! (Ocelots)

Hey people! Today this post is about Ocelots!

Now Ocelots, I suppose are not so much talked about, but that is why I am posting this! _________________________________________________________________________________________ Body/Anatomy: Ocelots have has sleek, smooth fur, rounded ears and large front paws. The coat (fur) pattern of ocelots can vary, being anything from cream to reddish-brown in color, or sometimes grayish, and marked with black rosettes. Rosettes are like the spots you see on leopards

Ocelots are short furred, and has two black stripes on both sides of the face, and the long tail has stripes of black. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ More of Ocelots: The ocelot is mostly nocturnal (active at night) and territorial (protective of it's part of it's land). If another Ocelot goes into another Ocelot's terrtitory (land) the ocelot that owns the land will fight the intruder really hard! ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Ocelot hunting: Ocelots tend to hunt mostly small animals, like mammals(mice,rabbits), lizards, turtles, and frogs, crabs, birds, and fish. Almost all of the prey that the ocelot hunts is smaller than itself. Ocelots also has very good vision, including night vision (seeing well in the dark). ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Where do Ocelots live?: Ocelots live in mainly South america,and they are found in tropical forest, mangrove swamps and savannas. __________________________________________________________________________________________ I hope you learned a lot about Ocelots! Ferrets!

Hi guys! First post of December 2014! This post is ALL about Ferrets :)

___________________________________________ Ferrets have long slender bodies and have fur colors that can range from the normal, cream and brown, or they can be white or even black! They are cute creatures that are well known as pets, but they also live in the wild! ____________________________________ Ferrets are crepuscular, which means they spend 14 to 18 hours a day asleep and are most active around the hours of dawn and dusk (Beginning of morning is dawn, and dusk is begining of night)And did you know that a group of Ferrets is called "Business" (Biz-ness)they are also territorial which means they don't like other ferrets going into their land! And they also like to burrow, or make underground dens (Animal homes are dens). Cool quick fact! Male ferrets are bigger than females! When ferrets get excited they may preform a dance! Known as the weasel war dance. The way they dance, well they like to do a series (Multiple) of side hops and bumping into things. This is not aggressive (Mean) but a joyful dance of playing! But if ferrets are scared, they will hiss like cats! But when they are upset they make soft squeaking noises. ___________________________________ What do ferrets like to eat, you might ask. Well I'm gonna tell you! Ferrets are carnivores, which means they eat meat in the wild. Well if they are your pet, then prepared (something or someone that is ready) dry foods, consisting (Foods that have mostly) almost entirely of meat would be good, but you can also get special blends of ferret food at pet stores. You can ask someone you know that has a ferret, what they eat, or ask someone at a pet store. But many pet store workers recommend you also feed them fruit, but DON'T feed them fruit or vegetables because it is hard for them to digest. Also, just a quick thing to tell you. If your ferret is angry at you, DON'T mess around with them more, because they might bite you! OW! Look out for those teeth!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Bloggers and Jammers of jamaa! Today in Animal Jam I had a feast, I made some new friends too ^-^ Give thanks guys n' girls!!

I Am thankful for a lot of things, so many things that I can't say them all in a day ;P

But speaking of thanksgiving... Me and my friends spotted a WILD turkey.... That was me, LOL the weird friend (not exactly)

But I went back to normal and we partied some more.

But then we found a room full of stuffed animals! if you clicked them, they turned into bouncy balls 0.0

and we played wild AGAIN, we had a great time

At some point we all got SO hungry that we ate most of the food, and after that it wasn't good....

Our tummy's ached afterwards, but we got over it pretty quickly, and we didn't know what to do with all the leftovers so.....

uhhh yeeaaaaaa things got out of hand at one point, but everything is fine. Happy Thanksgiving Jammers and Bloggers!

Polar Bears!!

Hi! I have finally had the time to update the blog, I know it's been a LONG wait but here it is! POLAR BEEEAAAAARRRRSSSS!!!

Polar bears hunting: Polar bears are predators, They eat many animals, but a certain prey catches their eyes most, The seal. Seals are one of their favorites in prey, their trick is to find holes in the ice that seals made, so that they can breathe, and the polar bears go to those holes, and wait for a seal, and when their heads stick out of the hole, they swiftly use their paw to drag the seal out of the hole and eats it. Polar bear dens: Polar bears live in icy caves and anything else they can made do with (Make do with means do whatever with what you have) The melting ice: I'm not sure if polar bears hibernate (falls asleep during winter and wakes up in spring) or not, but I do know, polar bears have to get to land before all the ice melts in spring, and the polar bears hunt and live on land until the ice comes back.

Can polar bears swim?: Yes they can, they are excellent swimmers, because if they live on the ice and don't know how to swim, they would be in trouble!

What are polar bear baby's called?: Polar Bear baby's are called Cubs. The cubs stay with their mother and learn how to fight and survive until they are old enough and ready, but until then, they enjoy their childhood while it lasts. And their are mostly 1 or 2 cubs born. Fur: Polar bear's skin is actually BLACK! but their fur is transparent (Transparent means clear and see through) and the sun reflects (like a mirror) off of the fur and makes it look white.

Alone: Polar bears live alone most of the time, it's the mother and cubs.

A very SPOOOOOKY POST!!

Hello their, I see you've come across my blog eh? do you like spooky stories? well i'm here to tell some! but first, your invited to my party!

Also, I have a TRUE Animal Jam story to tell you guys! This happened in animal jam, and it's 50% true. So I went to a Haunted Forest party, I was hanging out and having a good time.

Until.... I saw a mist, mists we're gathering around the forest, and then.... That's when I SAW IT!!

A PHANTOM LURKING IN THE WOODS! I FREAKED OUT, I turned my back for one second, then looked back, AND HE WAS GONE!!! So now that I saw that phantom in the woods, I was ready for him.... I looked back at where he was, then I looked at the crowd and... THERE HE WAS

I SCREEEAAAMED! everyone thought I was CRAZY! "THEIR IS A PHANTOM IN THESE WOODS!" I yelled, everyone laughed at me ;( I was SOOO Embarrassed :|.... But anyway, I was embarrassed, so I ran into the woods, and saw him in the mists again!

I screamed again! and yelled "HELP HELP! THE PHANTOM IS HERE!" but no one listened, they thought I was pulling a prank. So I was determined to get photos! And I DID! "I GOT PICTURES! SEE SEE! HES HERE" I shouted. And this is the proof I got!

Everyone SCREAMED too! they finally believed me!!! I was excited, but not at the thought of a phantom running around, and now that everyone believed.... THE PHANTOM APPEARED RIGHT THEIR! IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY!!!

"IT IS I! THE PHANTOM OF SHADOW!! I AM HERE NOW, I WILL HAUNT EVERYONE OF YOU IF YOU DON'T GET OUT OF MY FOREST! GET OUT!!" The Phantom shouted with his deep mysterious voice! Then we all ran home.. The end :3

Elephants :D

Yo people Xp Today's post is about...ELEPHANTS wooooooooooooooooooooooooo.............. Anyways, after that moment of cheering... NOW lets get started. What are elephant groups called?: Elephant groups are called herds. Herds are like family's, and it helps elephants protect one another and look after one another. But sadly, when boy elephants are fully grown up (8 years old) most of the time the males that reach that age or younger, must leave the herd for another, because the young males can be aggressive. Elephant herds can reach an amazing amount of herd members too!

Elephant eats: Elephants only eat veggies, because of their big body's (including belly) they must eat POUNDS of plants everyday.

Elephant differences: Their are two kinds of elephants that I know of. The well know African elephant and the well know-ish elephant, the Asian elephant. Too tell the difference, The African elephant has big, BIG ears. As the Asian elephant, well, they have smaller ears. Can elephants swim?: YES, they do swim... SURPRISE!

Who hunts elephants?: Lions/Lioness. A few more that I don't know.... And sadly, us, US humans hunt elephants, for their tusks, ivory witch is in their skin that can make things. And just for sport. in Africa, their is a law that your not allowed to hunt: Lions, Elephants, Rhino, and more, but sometimes...
